I’ve been following the Oscar Brown case, and something that strikes me is how much he had going for him with his family. It's truly gut-wrenching. By all accounts, he’d been putting in a lot of effort to be a present and loving father, and it seemed like such a pivotal time with his third child on the way. This part of his life is really telling about the kind of future he wanted to build. It’s so unfair that his chance to continue down that path was taken away so suddenly. I just keep thinking about his kids and what a profound loss they have to endure. It’s crucial that anyone with even the slightest bit of information steps up. His family deserves answers and closure, and it’s frustrating that the case is still unsolved after all this time. The community of Charlottesville needs to come together and help bring Oscar’s killer to justice.
