Hey everyone, I've been following the Marcus Major case and something that sticks with me is the aspect of Paris Small taking off and hiding out in Pennsylvania after the incident. It makes you wonder about what was going through his mind after everything happened. How does someone go from reportedly being close friends to this level of violence? It’s chilling to think about it. I can't imagine the pain Marcus's family must have gone through, hearing that Paris had just disappeared for a while. The waiting and uncertainty during that period must have been unbearable for them. Plus, the stress of the trial and hearing the claim that it was self-defense when evidence suggested otherwise must have been incredibly frustrating for them. I hope Marcus's family has found some solace in the conviction and sentencing, though no amount of time can truly match their loss. Thinking of them and sending them strength. ? What do others think about the impact of someone hiding after committing such a crime? How does it affect the community and the victim's family during that time? Take care, [username]
