I've been thinking a lot about Kate's two children, Layton and Olivia. It's truly painful to imagine what they must have experienced that night and the journey they now face without their mother. Kate seemed like such a devoted mom, always putting her little ones at the center of her world. It just breaks my heart to think how they have to grow up under the shadow of such a traumatic event. Has anyone heard how they are doing now, or if any support networks have been set up for them? I hope they have a strong circle of love around them, and that Kate's family is finding some comfort in keeping her memory alive through her children. If anyone knows more about how the community is stepping in to help, please share. Keeping Kate, Layton, and Olivia in my thoughts.

Does anyone know how the kids are doing after everything? It just breaks my heart to think about Layton and Olivia having to experience something so traumatic at such a young age. Being left without their mother and having their father taken away too is unthinkably difficult. I've read that Katherine's family took them in, hoping for some stability and love in what's otherwise been a chaotic situation for them. I'm truly wishing them the best and hoping they have all the support they need to navigate through life after such a tragedy. Her family must really miss her deeply, and my heart goes out to all of them. If anyone has updates or if there's a fund to help support the kids, I'd really appreciate the info.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around Kate Freel's tragedy. It's hard not to focus on how deeply this must have affected her kids, Layton and Olivia. Growing up without their mom is unimaginable, and my heart goes out to them. Kate was only 27 and had her whole life ahead of her, which is hard to think about. Has anyone heard if they’ve set up any kind of trust fund or support for those kids? It would be nice if the community could come together to support them in some way. Hearing about this case is a harsh reminder of how quickly life can change – makes you want to reach out to your loved ones and appreciate them even more.
