Does anyone else find the role of international extradition in these cases fascinating yet incredibly chilling? The fact that Yohannes Nessibu could flee to Ethiopia so quickly after committing such horrendous acts is both terrifying and eye-opening in terms of how globalized crime can be. I mean, the audacity to believe he could evade justice across borders shows how desperate and dangerous he was. Thank goodness the legal systems worked together to bring him back, but it really makes you wonder how many other criminals are out there doing the same thing and slipping through the cracks. My heart goes out to the families of Henok and Kedest who had to endure such a long wait for justice. It’s just a stark reminder of how complex and challenging these cases can be on an international scale.
