Hey everyone, I was just reading about Mikequan Tyvell Blakey—some folks knew him as "Moosey." What a tragic loss for his family and the Richmond community. I wanted to focus on the area where the incident happened, Richmond's south side. It sounds like it wasn't an isolated event, with multiple homicides in 2017. Just heartbreaking to think Moosey was caught up in this. It makes me wonder what residents feel about their safety, and how they're coping with the problem of gun violence. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones are going through, and I hope the authorities are putting their best foot forward in making the area a safer place. It would be interesting to hear from locals if they’ve noticed any changes or efforts towards improving safety since then. Sending my thoughts to everyone touched by this tragedy.
