Hey everyone, Has anyone else been following the case of Felicia Mattox Poindexter? I’ve been thinking a lot about the fact that she was just shopping at a Family Dollar when everything went down. It's chilling to think how something so routine can turn into a nightmare in an instant. I can’t imagine how her kids are feeling... having to confront the reality that their mom was taken from them out of nowhere. I read that she was known for her kindness and smile. The way the community has come together to remember her speaks volumes about the impact she had on those around her. It's just so unfair. She sounded like a wonderful person who was loved by so many. It makes me wonder about the situation between Gollop and Gravely. How did Felicia end up getting caught in the middle of that? I hope the trial can bring some clarity and justice for her family. ? Would love to hear thoughts from anyone local to Roanoke about how the community is handling all of this. Stay safe, everyone.

I’ve been following the case of Felicia Mattox Poindexter, and there's something that's been on my mind about the protective orders between Kimberly Gollop and David Lee Gravely. It’s really troubling to think about how the system is supposed to protect individuals, yet both parties involved didn't have their protective orders served before this tragedy unfolded. Could it have made a difference? We might never know, but I can't help feeling for Felicia's family wondering if the outcome could have been different. It’s so important that we hold our system accountable to ensure that protective measures are in place and effective. I hope this tragic incident raises awareness about how crucial it is to address such legal matters promptly. Thinking of Felicia's loved ones during this difficult time, and hoping they find some comfort in the support of their community.

I've been thinking a lot about the courage it must have taken for the witnesses at the Family Dollar on that tragic day. Being in the middle of such a horrific scene and having the presence of mind to assist or give statements to the authorities is no small feat. These moments are pivotal for bringing justice for Felicia, and the community owes them a debt of gratitude for their bravery. It’s just another reminder of how pivotal a community can be during these dark times. I hope everyone involved is receiving the support they need to process what they went through. Sending strength and healing thoughts to everyone affected by this tragic event.
