I can't stop thinking about Cori Terry's case and the lack of progress in finding his killer. It's so frustrating and tragic that his family has endured so much. Losing Cori in such a senseless act is indescribable, especially since his life was just beginning to take shape. He had plans, dreams, and a young daughter who now has to grow up without her father.
One thing that really stands out to me is how this seems to fit into a bigger issue in Portsmouth. It’s like gun violence is just tearing communities apart, one family at a time. I can’t imagine what it’s like for Cori’s family to have lost three sons to this violence. I know the police are doing their best, but I'm hoping people with any information will come forward. It’s overwhelming how connected this web of violence can be.
I pray for justice, not just for Cori, but for his brothers, too. It gives me some peace to know that community leaders are becoming more vocal about addressing these deep-rooted problems. The pain in this community is tangible, and it's time for change. My heart goes out to Cori's family and friends, and I hope one day they find the justice and closure they deserve.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the impact of generational tragedies and how they seem to ripple through families and communities. The Terry family in Portsmouth is a heartbreaking example of this with the loss of Cori and his brothers. It’s like a pattern of violence and loss that just doesn’t seem to end. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain Cori’s family must feel, losing not one, but three loved ones in similar circumstances. How do you even begin to cope with that?
I’m also curious about what steps the community can take to try and break this cycle. Pastor Barry Randall’s comments about addressing crime and poverty are spot on. It makes me wonder—are there successful examples of communities that have managed to cut down on violence through specific initiatives? I'd love to hear about any programs or approaches that have made a real difference.
Anyway, thinking of Cori’s family and all they've endured. It’s so important that we find ways to support families and prevent these tragedies from happening in the first place.
Stay safe everyone.
Has anyone been following the Terry family tragedies in Portsmouth? Every time I think about the pain this family has endured, it really hits hard. Losing someone like Cori, who had so much promise and was just trying to make something of his life, is devastating. And for this to be the third time the family has suffered such a loss is unimaginable.
I wonder how these kinds of repeated tragedies affect the community psyche. It seems like Cori had a passion and love for life—I read that he was into sports, singing, and dancing. It's such a cruel twist that he won't get to show his daughter these parts of himself. Portsmouth is not huge, and these acts of violence ripple through everyone. I’m curious if anyone knows about local initiatives or community efforts sparked by these events. Hopefully, they are making a difference.
It must be exasperating for the family to still be waiting for answers after six years. When there's no closure, the pain can linger on indefinitely. If anyone in the community is aware of new developments or efforts the Terry family is making to seek justice, please share. The work to end this cycle of violence is far from over.
