Has anyone else been following the case of Wendy Aughe? I can't stop thinking about that abandoned Ford Torino they found in Eugene. It just doesn't sit right with me. Why drive all the way from Bellingham to Eugene and then just leave the car there? It's such an odd detail. Did O’Neall know someone there, or was he trying to throw off investigators? The location of the car feels like it should mean something – maybe a missed connection or a piece of evidence that didn't quite fall into place back then. I wonder if there’s anyone who saw something suspicious around where the car was abandoned. Still so many questions even after all these years. What do you all think about the car being found there?

Hey everyone,
I've been following Wendy Aughe's case, and something that's really been on my mind is the community where her car was found—Eugene, Oregon. It's such a critical piece of the puzzle in this tragic situation. I'm curious to know if anyone has insight into what Eugene was like back in the late '80s, particularly around the time when Wendy’s car showed up there. Was it common for stolen vehicles to end up in Eugene, or was something else going on that would make it a prime location for someone trying to evade police?
Any locals (or non-locals with knowledge) who remember that era have thoughts on this? It might give us some additional context on why her car ended up there and what roads to look down for potential witnesses. Thanks for any info you can share!

Hey everyone, I've been following Wendy Aughe's case closely, and something that stands out to me is the timeline around her last sightings. She was last seen at a friend's house before disappearing on April 25, 1987, but does anyone have more details on her movements just before or after that? Like, did her friend notice anything unusual about her demeanor or say if anyone else might have been around? I feel like connecting the dots on her last day might shed more light on what happened later. Curious if these little details have been overlooked or if someone else has dug into this aspect. Any insights appreciated!
