Has anyone else been following the arraignment timeline for Gabriel Mearlyn Colon? I was reading through some of the info and noticed his arraignment was set for May 21, 2018. It makes me wonder about the legal strategies they're discussing behind closed doors and how Colon’s defense team will handle the serious charges against him. My heart goes out to Jamal’s family—I can’t imagine how hard it must be for them to face these legal proceedings while still mourning their loss. I hope justice is served and that this can somehow bring a small measure of peace to those who loved Jamal. Anyone else have thoughts on how this might unfold or what this means for the broader issue of community safety in Virginia Beach?
