Something that's always puzzled me about Edith Gertrude Hillman's case is her car being found at Forrest General Hospital. I mean, it's not just the location but the timing that gets me. Why there, and why weeks later? The presence of blood in the back seat makes it even more concerning. Did she drive there herself, or did someone else leave the vehicle? Hospitals are places where there are usually many people and lots of activity—didn't anyone notice who left her car there, or if she was with anyone? There must have been more witnesses back then who just haven't been identified or came forward. It's been so many years, but there's got to be someone out there who remembers something. Anyone else have thoughts on this or know similar cases where a car was found at a hospital, but the person was never found?
Hey everyone, I came across Edith Gertrude Hillman's case and something caught my eye that I find really intriguing. Her accent. Edith was from Mississippi but apparently spoke with a German accent. I wonder if this could be a significant detail in her disappearance. Could she have been mistaken for someone else because of it, or did it make her stand out to the wrong people? It's also interesting to consider if she had any ties to Germany or if there was someone in her life connected to it that could be relevant. Just a thought—it's hard to believe that a unique detail like an accent would be merely incidental, especially when everything else about the case is such a puzzle. Any insights or ideas?
