This might sound odd, but has anyone ever looked into weather patterns in the area on the day Marvin Boliver and his group went missing? I mean, Alaska storms are notorious for coming out of nowhere, but it might be interesting to see if anything unusual was going on meteorologically speaking. Maybe there were conditions that weren't typical for that time of year? It could give us some clues or at least a better picture of what they were up against. Considering they did use a CB radio to call for help, I'm assuming the storm got really bad, really fast.
