Hey everyone, I've been following the case of DreQuan Xzavious Trice and it's just so unsettling to think about how things unfolded on that tragic day in August 2019. I keep wondering about the community impact and support networks set up afterward. Does anyone know if there were any community vigils or initiatives started in Richmond to honor DreQuan’s memory? I think it's so important for communities to come together in the aftermath of senseless violence like this. Not only do these acts affect the immediate family, but they leave a ripple effect on friends, neighbors, and even those who didn't know the victim personally. I hope there were some positive steps taken locally to both remember DreQuan and to tackle gun violence more broadly.
