Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Ever Deras-Borjas, and something's been really bothering me. I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have had on the local community, especially since it happened on Thanksgiving. This is supposed to be a time for family and togetherness, and yet this horrific event forever changed their lives on a day dedicated to gratitude. Knowing this wasn't a random attack makes it even more unsettling for the neighbors and those who knew Ever. I can't imagine the fear and grief that filled the streets of Dinwiddie that day. It must be tough for the residents to feel safe and go back to their daily routines knowing something like this happened right in their neighborhood. I really hope the community has been able to come together to support each other in the aftermath. Healing as a group can sometimes help mend some of the fear and anxiety. My thoughts are with Ever's family and friends, and everyone in the Springfield community. They deserve peace and safety, especially after such a traumatic event. Has there been any community outreach or events organized to support the neighborhood since the incident? I'd love to hear how everyone's coping and if there's any way to help from afar. Stay safe out there, everyone.
