Just came across the case of Francisco Beeman and can't stop thinking about how strange it is. How does someone just vanish like that? I was looking at old maps of Kodiak from around that time, trying to figure out if the landscape could offer any clues. Kodiak can be pretty harsh, especially in winter. Could his disappearance be linked to the environment somehow? Was there bad weather reported on or around that date in 1989? It's frustrating that after all these years, there still aren't more answers. If anyone local to Kodiak has more insights from back then, it would be great to hear from you. Every little detail might help piece together what happened.
