I just can't get over how eerie it is to think about the small details in Yvette Fitch's case. That tiny frosted window, which ended up being a crucial part of the witness testimony, keeps circling in my head. It’s mind-boggling to think how narrow a window of opportunity the shooter had, literally and figuratively. Beverley Ann Hoffman’s account of the night has been haunting me since the trial. Imagining what she went through, having to recount that tragic evening, knowing her friend and employee wouldn't be coming back inside... I can't begin to imagine the trauma. Every piece of evidence and testimony seemed to slowly unravel what happened that night, but I can't help feeling there's so much more behind each detail. It’s a heavy reminder of how quickly a safe routine can turn into a life-altering event. Thoughts are continually with Yvette’s family and loved ones.?
