Has anyone here looked into Anthony Fettinger's interests or hobbies? Sometimes the smallest detail can spark a clue. I read somewhere that he was quite outdoorsy—typical for someone from Alaska—but what if he went out on a solo adventure that didn't go as planned? Alaska's wilderness is no joke, especially in April when the weather can be pretty treacherous. There have been cases before where people ventured out into the wilderness and just vanished. Maybe there’s a chance that he left voluntarily, thinking it was a simple excursion. It would be useful to know if there's any history of him taking such trips or if he had any specific favorite spots he liked to visit. Also, has there been any searches conducted in nearby trails or parks? If someone knows of anything like that, it might be worth discussing.

Hey everyone, just came across something intriguing about the Anthony Fettinger case from way back in 1989. I was curious if anyone had any insight or thoughts on the role of media in missing persons cases, specifically in this one. It seems like the Alaska Department of Public Safety has been working with media outlets to keep Anthony's case in the public eye. Does anyone think that the media push could help in bringing new leads after all these years? It's interesting to see how media coverage has shifted over decades and how it might affect cases, even those as old as this. Would love to hear what you all think about the potential impact!
