I’ve been thinking a lot about how the lack of arrests in Teonna's case must feel incredibly frustrating and demoralizing for the family. It's been over two years now, and I can't imagine waking up every day not knowing who took her away from them. It seems like every lead has gone cold, and I'm hoping the Norfolk PD can shed some light soon because this family desperately needs closure and justice. Also, the fact that this happened in a neighborhood where people should feel safe, but instead are living with fear due to inadequate lighting and safety measures, is concerning. It breaks my heart knowing her brother has to carry this trauma and loss, too. While it’s great that community initiatives like the Stop the Violence rally are happening, I wish practical changes were being implemented more urgently. I deeply hope that anyone who might know something finds the courage to come forward. The community deserves peace, and Teonna deserves justice. Sending love and strength to her family as they continue to navigate through life without their precious Tee Tee.

I’ve been following the discussion about Teonna "Tee Tee" Coburn’s tragic passing, and my heart goes out to her entire family. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain her mother, Marcia, is feeling. As a parent myself, it's hard to think about how you’d cope with such a devastating loss.
One thing that stands out is the issue of poor lighting in the area where she was shot. I’ve seen neighborhoods make big improvements with relatively simple changes like better lighting and community patrols. It’s unsettling that residents have to live in fear simply walking down the street. Does anyone know if any steps are being taken by the city to brighten up the area or improve security? Something needs to be done to prevent more incidents like this and make people feel safer in their own neighborhood. It’s really disheartening to see that despite the community’s push for answers, there’s still no closure for Teonna’s family. I truly hope the police continue to focus on this case and that someone with information will eventually speak up. Keep supporting each other and pressing for change. Justice for Teonna means real action to keep such a tragedy from happening again.
