I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact this has had on the local community, especially anyone who frequently stayed at the Regal Inn or lives nearby. It's unsettling to know that something so tragic could happen in a place that many probably saw as just an ordinary spot in town. I can’t help but wonder how this incident has affected the sense of safety in that area. I hope the community has rallied together to support one another and that Golden's family has found some comfort in the outpouring of support. It's a stark reminder of how important community ties can be during such difficult times. If anyone else is local or has insights about how the neighborhood has responded, I'd be interested to hear more.
