Has anyone else been looking into the impact of community support programs back in 2008? After reading about Jesus Johnson’s murder, it got me thinking about what kind of help was available for families dealing with these tragedies. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must have felt, especially with so many cases like his going unsolved. I’ve seen some articles mentioning programs that aimed to reduce violence and support victims’ families around that time, but I’m curious about how effective they were and what sort of long-term impact they’ve had, if any. Has anyone else read up on this or have personal insights? It just seems so important to try and understand how communities recover from such loss, both then and now.
