I’ve been following Lucas's case and can’t help but think about the community and how it's dealing with the aftermath. Amelia Court House seems like such a tight-knit place where everyone knows each other. It must be incredibly hard for both Lucas's and Michael's families. Even though Lucas was a fan of the Detroit Lions, I imagine his true team was his community, built from all those moments out in nature with friends and family. The whole situation is tragic, and one can only hope that it brings the community closer together in healing and finding ways to prevent such tragedies in the future. Sending thoughts to everyone affected as they navigate this difficult time.

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Lucas Hanna, and I can't stop thinking about his friend group and how they're coping with all of this. Losing someone close, especially in such a violent and unexpected way, must be incredibly traumatic for them. I remember being a teenager and how tight-knit friend groups could be; when one person is taken away, it leaves a massive hole in everyone's lives. I'm curious if anyone knows how the community is supporting these friends who are left to process not only the loss of Lucas but also the knowledge that it was another friend involved in his death. Are there counseling services being offered at school, or has the community come together in any way to provide some sort of support system for them? This must be an overwhelming time, and it's important that these young people have the resources they need to grieve and heal appropriately. If anyone has updates on how they're doing or any ways people can help, it would be great to share. My heart goes out to Lucas's friends, his family, and the entire community of Amelia Court House.
