Hey everyone, I've been following the Brandon Wims case closely and can't stop thinking about Sapphire Lawrence, the friend who was in the driver's seat that night. Imagine the shock and terror she must have felt when Trott-McLean opened fire. It's hard to comprehend the trauma she's likely dealing with, knowing she couldn't help Brandon in those crucial moments. These incidents don’t just impact direct families but leave a big dent in the friends and community who have to heal from witnessing such violence. Let's not forget people like Sapphire who end up as unintended victims in these crimes and often deal with lifelong consequences. If anyone has more information on how she’s doing, or if there are any support efforts in place for her, I’d be really interested to hear. Stay safe, everyone.
