Has anyone heard any updates or new info about Quinton Robertson's case? It's been almost a year, and it seems like the investigation has hit a wall. I can't imagine how hard this must be for his family, especially his cousin Laverne. Losing two loved ones to gun violence in such a short span is unimaginable. I’ve been reading about all the efforts Richmond is making to curb gun violence, but what more can be done? I just wish there were more answers and some peace for his family. If anyone has heard anything recent about the case or how the community is rallying, I’d love to know. It's just so sad to see another unsolved case hanging over a family like this.
Hello all,
I can't stop thinking about the tragic passing of Quinton Robertson and the impact it's had on his family, especially his cousin Laverne McMullen. It must be unimaginable to endure such sorrow, having lost both a cousin and a son to gun violence in such a short span of time. My thoughts are with her and the entire family during this incredibly tough period.
Something that stood out to me is how Laverne talked about Quinton being a devoted father and family man. It makes me wonder about the children left behind, how they're coping with this loss, and what kind of support systems are in place for them. Experiences like this leave deep scars, not just on immediate families, but also on the broader community. It's clear there's a pressing need to offer more resources for young people to ensure their safety and emotional well-being.
I hope that there is progress in this case soon and that justice will be served. The continuous toll of gun violence in Richmond needs to be addressed, not just with words, but with tangible actions and community support. Let's all try to stay informed and involved, however we can, to help prevent future tragedies.
Stay safe, everyone.
