Seeing the ripple effect of Captain Cassidy's tragic death still resonates deeply today, even over a century later. What really strikes me is the selflessness he showed, especially when thinking about his daily routine of helping his wife’s aunt. It’s the small things that often reveal someone’s true character, and it seems like Captain Cassidy exemplified the kindness and commitment that we all admire in our community leaders. It's such a shame that he met such a violent end while in the act of serving others. Knowing that one suspect was never caught must have been a painful reminder for his loved ones, and I hope wherever that suspect went, they understood the impact of their actions. Captain Cassidy certainly deserves to be remembered and honored forever for his bravery and service. Anyone else feel that sense of unsettled justice when it comes to cold cases like this?
