Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on 11/28/1990 around Seguam Island? Trying to find details but I'm having a tough time getting specifics. If the skiff they were in hit unexpectedly bad weather, it could explain some things. I know it’s been years, but getting a picture of what they might’ve encountered that day could help us understand if there were high winds or rough seas. Sharing any historical weather data sources would be great!
Has anyone looked deeper into the weather conditions on the day John Slagill and Terrance "Sam" Batchelder went missing? I know the Bering Sea can be pretty treacherous, especially around the Aleutians. It makes me wonder if rough seas or sudden weather changes could have played a bigger role than initially thought. Was there any report about visibility or sea state that day? Sometimes local fishermen remember these conditions better than official records. It'd be good to hear from anyone familiar with the area or anyone who might have insights into the typical weather patterns around Seguam Island during late November.
