I've been diving into the tragic events of the Camden Massacre, and I came across the story of Rose Fine Cohen. What truly stands out to me is the incredible bravery she displayed in the face of unimaginable terror. Imagine the horror of realizing your neighborhood has turned into a war zone and having the presence of mind to protect your child at such a critical moment. While I'm grateful that Charles survived, I can't begin to fathom the immense loss he and his family went through losing Rose that day. Her actions almost certainly saved his life, which speaks volumes about her instincts as a mother. It's difficult to comprehend such senseless violence, and it must have been a haunting specter for those left behind to deal with its aftermath. It's important to remember stories like hers to honor the humanity and bravery of victims in such dark times.
