Has anyone looked into what kind of support networks were available in the Absecon area around the time of the Belluscio family tragedy? I keep thinking about how different things might have been if Michael Anthony Belluscio had access to adequate mental health resources or if there were more community interventions for families in crisis. With such a heartbreaking outcome, it’s hard not to wonder if earlier help could have prevented this. My thoughts are with the loved ones who were left to pick up the pieces and try to make sense of such a profound loss. Mental health support can be such a critical element in preventing these unimaginable events, and it’s so important to reflect on how communities can improve their systems to support individuals and families in need.
