It's so intriguing to think about the various paths Eugene Walraven might have taken after jumping from that train. I've read that he was possibly trying to get off near Many or Leesville—both areas with their unique characteristics and challenges for someone traveling without a vehicle or clear plan. Has anyone looked into the local communities around those regions for any sightings or connections he might have made? Sometimes small towns have those closely-knit networks where a stranger sticks out. Just thinking out loud about possible places he might have sought refuge or assistance.
