Hey everyone, I've been reading through the threads about Robert "Screw" Montanez's tragic death, and something that really stands out to me is the role of witnesses in this case. It took nearly six years for Almalik Ward to be arrested, all because people who were there finally came forward. It must have taken a lot of courage for those witnesses to step up, and it goes to show how important it is for justice. Montanez risked everything to help a friend, and when witnesses finally spoke out, it made a huge difference. It’s a powerful reminder of how crucial it is for people to support one another and how their voices can bring justice. I truly hope his family and friends found some solace with the arrest, even though it can never replace their loss. Sending thoughts to everyone impacted by his untimely death. What do you all think about witness involvement in cases like this? Is there more we can do to encourage people to come forward sooner?
