Hey everyone, I've been digging into the disappearance of Arans from back in 1991, and something's been bugging me. I've read that he fell overboard near the Katzhein River in the Lynn Canal. Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions that night? From what I've found, the tides and currents in that area can be really unpredictable. I wonder if anyone has more detailed info on the actual conditions that day. Could rough weather have contributed to the accident, or was it reported as relatively calm? Curious if this info could give us any more insight into what happened that night.

Has anyone done a deep dive into the weather conditions on the day Arans fell overboard? I've been looking into the historical weather data for that area, and it seems there might have been strong currents and high winds around the time he went missing. If anyone has access to boat logs or local news archives from 1991, it could provide more context about what he might have faced in those waters. Nature can be so unpredictable, and understanding the environment that day could offer more clues. Maybe it could help explain why he couldn’t make it back to the boat. What do you all think?
