I’ve been following Gregorio Hernandez's case closely, and my thoughts are with his family during what must be a tremendously difficult time. One aspect that caught my attention was the role of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in the investigation. It seems like such a multifaceted approach was taken by law enforcement to solve this case. It speaks volumes to how interconnected different agencies can be and the resources they’re willing to allocate for justice. It makes me wonder how often they get involved in local cases and if this kind of collaboration is becoming more common, especially in situations involving gun violence. Also, what does this mean for the local community moving forward? Anyone else have thoughts or insight on this? It’s important we keep talking about these issues in hopes of some positive change.
