Hi everyone, I've been following PJ's case, and something that's been on my mind is the role that social media might have played in this tragedy. It seems that conflicts like these can escalate so quickly, especially when they're aired out online for everyone to see. Was there any indication that this fight was being discussed or even arranged on social media platforms before the incident? It makes me wonder if PJ and Bear's lives could have been saved if this had been handled differently or if any intervention could have been possible earlier on. My heart goes out to their families. It's all just so senseless—two young men with so much ahead of them, gone. If anyone knows more about this angle or has seen any posts related to this before the incident on May 20, 2014, it would be interesting to discuss. Such a tragedy for the community.
I've been following the tragic case of Pablo Caban and his best friend, Delshawn Harris, and something that struck me was the sense of planned confrontation that spiraled out of control. It's just so saddening to think about how a situation intended as a one-on-one fight between P.J. and someone else could end up costing two young men their lives. It makes you wonder about the mindset of those who attended the fight. Were they hoping to de-escalate things, or were they there to instigate and watch the chaos unfold?
P.J. seemed like such a gentle soul, dedicated to his family and friends, especially his sibling gaming sessions and basketball games. It pains me to think of the moments stolen from both him and Delshawn – the laughter, the camaraderie, and their futures. This incident is a somber reminder of the potential tragic outcomes that can arise from conflict. My thoughts are with the families who are undoubtedly grappling with unimaginable loss while the investigation seeks to uncover the truth.
I find it so difficult to wrap my head around the situation on Buck Street the night P.J. and Bear lost their lives. It's just so surreal knowing that what was intended to be a one-on-one fight ended so tragically. I have been trying to understand how and why things escalated to such a devastating point. The fact that it turned into a group confrontation with guns involved is just unfathomable to me. My heart truly goes out to their families dealing with this immense loss.
I’m struck by how many people were there and that the atmosphere was chilling. Did no one think to try and stop the situation before it reached that point? I keep wondering if there were more people behind this. I hope the authorities continue to seek justice for P.J. and Bear. They deserve that, and their families deserve answers and peace. May they both rest in peace.
