Has anyone looked into the search efforts for Shawn? I read that the Coast Guard conducted a pretty extensive search after Harvey G. sank, but I'm wondering if there are any details about the areas they focused on or any updates on findings. It must be really challenging given the weather conditions and rough waters up there. Maybe local boats or fishing crews organized searches afterward? It's just so hard to imagine what his family is going through without answers. Would love to hear any local insights or more info on what’s been done since the initial search.
Hey everyone, I was researching the sinking of the fishing vessel Harvey G., where Shawn vanished, and found something I hadn't seen mentioned before. Has anyone looked into the vessel's safety record prior to this incident? With the stormy conditions that night, I wonder if there had been any past issues or overlooked maintenance that could have played a role in what happened. It's so tragic that Shawn and possibly others were caught up in this. Just thinking about any factors aside from the weather that could have contributed to the vessel sinking, especially if it could help prevent future incidents.
