Has anyone else been following the case of Gerald Velardi Jr.? Something that's been on my mind is the age gap between him and the landlord who shot him, John C. Wisse. It's just so unsettling to think of an 83-year-old being in a position to take someone's life like this. It makes me wonder about the dynamics of their relationship leading up to that tragic day. What pushed Wisse over the edge to use a firearm instead of resolving things peacefully? It really hits home how fragile life is and how quickly an argument can turn into something so devastating. Sending my thoughts to Gerald's family and friends; this must be such a difficult time for them. How is the community coping in the aftermath of this tragedy?
