It's gut-wrenching to see how easily a life can be derailed and ultimately ended by the pervasive violence in communities like Paterson. This tragedy isn't just about what happened on that night; it’s about systemic issues that we, as a society, have yet to adequately address. My thoughts are with Zahmir's family, who bear the heavy burden of these losses. They deserve justice and, hopefully, some semblance of peace.
