I’ve been doing some digging about the Harvey G. incident, and something that caught my attention was the weather conditions on that day. Apparently, there was a sudden shift and the sea turned really rough unexpectedly. It's making me wonder if there was any prior indication that the weather might get that bad, or if it was just a freak change. Those factors might have played a huge part in why things unfolded the way they did. Did any ships nearby encounter similar issues around the same time? Would love to hear if anyone's got more info on the conditions that evening.
