Hey everyone, just wanted to share some thoughts on the Kenneth case from the Harvey G incident. I keep thinking about how challenging it must be for search and rescue teams in those remote waters north of Cold Bay. The area is notorious for its treacherous conditions, and I can’t imagine how tough it is to conduct a thorough search over such a vast expanse of ocean. I really hope they can continue searching when the weather clears. Anyone else familiar with how rescues like these are usually handled, or know more about the area? It’s frustrating to think about how the odds stack up in such situations. Stay safe, everyone!
Has anyone found any satellite data related to the Harvey G sinking? I’ve been reading up on cases like Kenneth's where vessels disappear, and satellite imagery sometimes plays a crucial role in finding out what happened. It's been bothering me that there's so little information about the recovery efforts, and I wondered if any agencies might have captured data around the time of the incident. If anyone's heard anything new, please share. Keeping hopes up for any clue, no matter how small.
