Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Robert and Lawrence (MP #66555) who went missing back on December 7, 1991, in the Arctic Ocean. While everyone talks about the snow machine incident, I came across something intriguing. According to a few local anecdotes I found online, there's an old belief among the communities living in that region that at certain times of the year, the ice can make mysterious sounds or vibrations. Some people even say the ice can "sing." I wonder if these sounds could have disoriented them or made it hard to determine the safest path across the ice. It's just a thought, but considering the conditions up there, any little detail might be important. Anyone have more knowledge about this phenomenon or think it could have played a role in their disappearance?

Hey everyone, I came across Robert's case and something's been bugging me ever since. Does anyone know if there were any weather warnings issued on 12/07/1991 in the area where he and Lawrence were last seen? It seems like taking a snow machine out on the ice could be risky without weather updates, especially in Arctic conditions. If anyone has info on what the weather was like that day, or if the local authorities had released any warnings, it might shed some light on their last known movements. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone here has some insights into Robert and Lawrence's case. I've been following it for a while now, and something that's been puzzling me is the weather conditions that day back in 1991. I found some reports mentioning it was unusually mild for December, which might explain the thin ice where their snow machine went through. Does anyone know if this kind of weather pattern was common that year or if it might have played a role in similar incidents around the same time? Just trying to piece everything together and wonder if there's anything else we can investigate regarding that aspect. Appreciate any thoughts or info anyone might have!
