I keep thinking about the role betrayal played in DeVonte Molley's tragic murder. It's unimaginable to think that someone he considered a friend could turn on him so brutally. To arrange a robbery against someone you know and trust is beyond comprehension. The texts from Burgess really show just how premeditated and cold-blooded this crime was. I can't even begin to imagine the pain Molley's loved ones must be experiencing, knowing that it wasn't just strangers who took him away, but someone who was supposed to be a friend. It’s so important for us as a community to remember these stories and continue advocating for justice and support for the victims’ families. It's crucial that something positive comes from such a devastating event.
