I was reading about Anthony McFadden's case and couldn’t stop thinking about how his dreams and potential were cut short at just 20 years old. I didn't know him personally, but I've seen the heartfelt tributes from his family and friends online, and it's clear that he had a positive impact on those around him. What gets me is the level of fear in communities affected by gun violence. It's understandable, of course, but it's so disheartening that people might hold back sharing what they know because they're scared of retaliation. If we want to see a change and find justice for Anthony, there has to be a way to make communities feel safe enough to come forward with information. Does anyone have any insights or thoughts on what measures could be put in place to ensure anonymity and protection for witnesses?
