Does anyone have insights into the weather conditions around Three Bays when Steven's skiff was found? I know the water can be unpredictable that far north, and sudden changes could have played a part in what happened. Was there any report of rough waters or changing tides that day?
Hey everyone, I've been following the Steven case closely and wanted to talk about something that caught my attention. Steven's skiff was found in Three Bays near Wrangell, AK, just bizarrely going in circles with no one aboard. I keep thinking about what might have happened when he disappeared. Could it be possible that he fell out and the skiff just kept going? And if so, how didn't anyone notice sooner? It's such a remote area, but still somewhat frequented by locals and fishers. I wonder if anyone who was out there around the same time saw anything out of the ordinary. Has anyone here been to Three Bays? Would love to hear thoughts from folks familiar with the area.
I’ve been curious about how the skiff ended up going in circles in Three Bays without Steven. Could this imply mechanical failure or something else? I'm wondering if other boaters in the area experienced similar issues. Also, how common is it for a skiff to be found in such a state? It seems eerie and raises so many questions about what might have happened to Steven out there. Anyone familiar with the water conditions in that area around Wrangell, AK who can share some insights?
