I’ve been following the case of Eric Bryant, and I just can’t shake the thought of how unfair it is for his kids. Losing a father in such a violent manner just after celebrating a birthday must be unimaginably tough. It’s moments like these that are meant for joy, and now it’s forever tainted with sorrow for his family. What stands out to me is how vulnerable people can be right outside their own homes. It seems like Eric and his friend were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I hope the authorities are able to piece together what happened that night. It’s unsettling to think someone out there knows what went down and hasn’t come forward. It’s a call to action for anyone who saw or heard something that night to speak up. Sending strength to his children and the woman who was injured. Let’s hope justice is served soon.
