I was just thinking about Brian's case and how tragic the circumstances were. Has anyone here been following this? Brian's experience highlights the dangers fishermen face daily. I’ve been reading some articles and apparently, accidents like this aren't as rare as we'd hope. It's frustrating to know how perilous these jobs are, yet there's not always enough being done to ensure safety. I wonder if the crew had adequate training in dealing with entanglements like this. It makes me worry about how many similar incidents might have happened where we don't have the full story. Hoping Brian’s situation at least raises awareness for better safety protocols on these fishing boats. Please, if anyone has any updates or insights, do share.
