I just stumbled onto this case about the three missing guys in Kachemak Bay, and I've got so many questions. I'm trying to wrap my head around the timeline here. Does anyone know around what time they were expected back and who reported them missing? And how experienced were they with canoeing in that area? It's so bizarre to think all three vanished without a trace. Given that the searches didn’t turn up anything, I wonder if the weather or tides might have played a role. Anyone familiar with the bay's conditions this time of year? Just trying to understand how experienced individuals could disappear like that. It's unsettling.
Has anyone else been following the case of the three missing men in Kachemak Bay? I'm particularly intrigued by the fact that they're all experienced outdoorsmen. It seems like such a strange and tragic situation. I read somewhere that the weather conditions were pretty rough the day they went missing, and I'm wondering if there have been any reports on how that might have contributed to their disappearance. Also, if Melvin and Daniel had any equipment like emergency gear or PLBs (Personal Locator Beacons) with them, do we know if they were activated? It's been haunting me because it seems like something should've turned up by now. Hoping their families get some answers soon. Anyone have any new insights or updates?
Hey everyone, I've been following the case of the three guys—Robert, Melvin, and Daniel—who went missing in Kachemak Bay, and something keeps bugging me. I know the official reports say they were last seen canoeing before disappearing, but I was wondering what the weather conditions were like that day. Does anyone know if there were storm warnings or anything that could have caught them off guard? It seems strange that none of them made it back or that none of their gear has been found. Any locals from Homer or people familiar with the bay have insights? It just seems like such a vast area for three experienced guys to vanish without a trace.
