Has anyone come across any reports or statements from other vessels that might have been in the area when Michael went overboard? Considering how remote the location is, communication between nearby ships could be vital. I’m wondering if maybe a passing boat might’ve seen or heard something that could help pinpoint exactly what happened. It's such a vast area, and even a minor detail could provide some clarity or even give us a new lead. If anyone has any insights or knows of anyone who might’ve been out there, please share!
Has anyone seen updates about the search methods for Michael, who fell overboard near Port Moller? I'm curious about how search and rescue operations work so far out at sea. It’s not an area people frequently talk about, and I wonder what kinds of resources they have. Sending thoughts to Michael’s loved ones and hoping for some answers soon.
Hey everyone - just read an article about Michael, the guy who vanished while fishing northwest of Port Moller. What puzzles me is the location. I mean, 90 miles offshore, isn't that quite a distance? I wonder if that area is known for rough waters or something. Navigating conditions at sea can change so quickly. It would be interesting to hear from anyone familiar with fishing in that region. Local currents, weather patterns, anything that might help piece together what possibly happened when he went overboard? I've seen a few instances where unusual tides contributed to similar situations. Also, was there any mention of safety protocols on his boat? Just trying to understand all the factors at play. Thoughts?
