I was reading about the Ramon Mosquea case again today, and something struck me about how vital community cooperation was in finally apprehending the suspect. It really makes you think about how pivotal even the smallest piece of information can be. The fact that someone might have seen something that night—maybe without even realizing the significance—gives me hope for cases that remain unsolved. If you're from the area or knew Ramon, how did his tragic death impact the community? Did it spark any initiatives or community meetings focused on addressing the rampant gun violence in Paterson at the time? It's incredibly sad, but sometimes through loss, communities find ways to come together and push for change. Would love to hear any local insights on how this tragedy has shaped the neighborhood since then.
