I’ve been following the discussions here, and what keeps sticking with me about Dontrelle Horne’s case is the impact on his family and young son. It’s been almost six years, but I imagine the pain never really goes away for them. The community lost someone cherished and valued deeply, not just by his friends and family but by everyone whose lives he touched. I can’t help but think about his young son growing up without his father and how that affects him. Does anyone know if there have been any community support initiatives or memorial events to honor Dontrelle’s legacy and support his family? It's so important to keep his memory alive and support those who are hurting.
