Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of the missing boys from the Sea Castle incident, and I can't stop thinking about the conditions on that fishing trip. It’s really bothering me how something as simple yet crucial as life vests or survival suits were not used. From what I understand, safety protocols back then were not as stringent as today, but it’s chilling to think that lives might’ve been saved with just a bit more caution. I’ve been reading up on regulations in the early '90s, and it seems like there was a serious lack of enforcement or awareness regarding maritime safety. Does anyone know if this incident led to any changes in regulations or safety measures? It’s heartbreaking to think these young lives could have been protected with just a few more precautions. Stay safe, everyone.
