It’s also startling to think about the future of Shane Davis and Jada Coley. At just 19 years old, their lives are now changed forever as they face serious legal charges. It really makes me reflect on how crucial it is for communities to engage young people in conflict resolution and the importance of addressing issues before they spiral out of control. Has anyone else heard discussions on community programs focusing on these preventative measures? What more can be done to support young adults before situations reach such a tragic point?
