It's so sad to hear about what happened to Shamar Cohen. I’ve been keeping up with the case since it hit the news, and it really bothers me that there’s still no clear motive or suspects. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through, having to wait so long for answers. Newark has its share of crime, but it's always more unsettling when no concrete leads seem to stick. Does anyone know if there's been any community outreach or efforts to keep Shamar’s story alive in the media? I really hope someone comes forward with crucial information soon.

I've been thinking about Shamar Cohen's case a lot lately, especially about the location where it happened. That area on the 300 block of 7th Avenue in Newark has seen its share of issues, but this tragic incident really hits home for those living nearby. It's unsettling that in a place so familiar to locals, something so horrific could happen, and yet we still have so few answers. I'm hoping that as time goes on, people who might have seen something will feel compelled to speak up. Sometimes it's the smallest detail that could tip the scales and give Shamar's family the closure they so desperately need. If anyone is on here that knew Shamar or lives in the area, maybe sharing memories or observations could help keep momentum going in the investigation. It's important we don't let this unsolved case fade away. Sending love to those impacted by this tragedy.

Hi everyone, I've been following the Shamar Cohen case, and something that keeps circling my mind is the time of the incident. It happened just before 11 p.m., which makes me wonder about the nature of the area around that time. Was it a busy spot usually? Were there perhaps businesses nearby that might have surveillance footage? It seems like such a crucial detail that could hold some answers. I can’t imagine the pain his family must be going through, waiting for any bit of information that could lead to resolution. They deserve to know why this happened. If anyone has insights into the typical activity on that block during late hours, or if there's a chance for more undiscovered footage, maybe it could help push the investigation forward. Thoughts?
