I’ve been following Davonte Burrus’s case, and my thoughts really go out to his family and friends. I can’t even begin to imagine what they’re going through. One thing that caught my attention was the repeated targeting by Gillam. It's alarming to think about what level of pressure and fear Davonte must have faced during those weeks after the first shooting. This leads me to wonder why the alleged motive hasn’t been revealed. Was there something more personal between them, or was it just senseless violence? I'm hoping that as the case progresses, more clarity will emerge. It’s deeply unsettling just how many young lives are affected by such violence in communities like Bridgeton. I really hope something can be done to address these underlying issues so people can feel safer in their own neighborhoods. Has anyone else been following the case regarding Davonte Burrus?
